sr20 sitting

Neighbor's new mg on my way to the car park.

And I thought my z was small.

Sitting for a month while I was working, the s14a quickly succumbed to the British weather.

The later 2oo's are 5 lug so they won't be interchangeable with the 24o z unless I get 5 lug stub axles, which is on the table with the recent rear end fiasco.

Another crack free rhd dash. These aren't as rare as the fabled s13 crack free dashes, but again, this country gets minimal sunlight and I have a theory this is why interiors hold up so well. This is right next to my theory about Jedi being Mormon's of a land far, far away.

Interior is in great condition, the original driver seat sitting inside my flat. Did I mention how much I like that steering wheel? The previous owner said they had purchased the car to setup as a drift car, as you do with Nissan's, but halfway through taking out the interior came to the conclusion the car was too clean a starting point to waste as a racecar. That and his son wanted a wrx instead of the 3 other projects they had sitting outside. This one actually came with a radio and well working speakers. The AC blows hard and the reclinable bride seat holds firm. The sparco steering wheel has a deep dish to it, a nice thick rim, and is pre marked on center. Simple and functional. Engine starts first crank, and the hidden electronic boost controller also doubles as a turbo timer, set to a standard 3o seconds.

The car isn't covered with sap, just general outside dirt, dust, branches, leaves, foliage, bird poop, and spiders. I think Nissan red is a magnet for all things floating in the London air. There were webs between the wheel spokes, side mirrors, even the bonnet and parking lot wall.

Hello notchtop sr20det.

Clean color matched valve cover. These come back oem, which made me look twice at the engine to make sure it was the right one. The older s13 sr2o's came in redtop and blacktop variants, while s14's only black. You can tell the engine is bang on by the downward slant of the valve cover in the rear or the vvt bump of the valve cover in the front.

HID ballasts...

... and K&N filtration.

Trying to unearth the fuel pump fuse for what would turn into tomorrow's activity rather than current day.

Adjustable camber plates and BC coilover suspension shock tops. I like the stout white strut tower bar as well.
